Buying
What am I buying?
Miners. Pay ETH on Get Hooked. You get miners. You can't sell them, send them, or list them. When the round dies, those miners die with it. Later buys may land ETH on miners you already hold. You do not get $HBTC.
Are miners whole numbers?
No. You can hold a fraction. The site shows four decimals. The contract keeps the rest.
How many miners does 0.002 ETH buy at the open?
About twenty, at zero miners sold. 0.002 ETH is min — the floor that makes you the hooked one — not the price of one miner. One miner starts at 0.0001 ETH. Live quote is on Get Hooked. More numbers are on Parameters.
Can I sell or transfer miners?
No. There is no transfer, no list, no second ticker. What you can withdraw is on miners, and — if you're the hooked one — the pot. Neither is a return.
How is every buy cut?
Same cut every time: 20% the hooked one (that's the pot), 20% On miners, 20% Next round, 40% Hooked. Hooked is the 40% slice. The hooked one is a person. First buy of a round: nobody holds miners yet, so that On miners 20% goes into the pot.
Does my own buy land ETH on me?
The miners you just bought do not. Miners you already hold do — they take their share of this buy's On miners 20% before the new ones land. Buy again later and the ones you already have still count.
Do I get $HBTC?
No. Forty percent of every buy leaves and mines $HBTC for the protocol — pair or burn. You take L1 ETH: on miners anytime, and the pot if you're the hooked one after it settles. There is no receipt.
The clock
What is min?
The smallest buy that makes you the hooked one. Send any amount and you still get miners. Only a buy at or over min keeps the round alive and can take the pot. Min starts at 0.002 ETH, climbs to 0.02 ETH over the first 144 blocks, sits, then doubles every 72 blocks. It goes up with time, not volume.
What if I buy under min?
You still take miners. You still get on miners if people buy after you. You're not the hooked one. That block doesn't count, and it doesn't keep the round alive. You can't take the pot. Your pot slice still goes into the pot for whoever is the hooked one.
If I'm the hooked one right now, when do I get the pot?
If the next ten minutes pass and nobody hits min, the round dies. Then someone has to close the books — poke, or a new buy. After that, Claim will pay. If someone hits min first, they're the hooked one.
When is the last block?
Only after the next ten-minute block comes up empty. You can't call this block last while it's still open. There's no countdown, and you don't get a final block to camp.
What's the difference between dead and settled?
Dead means the empty ten-minute block already happened. The hooked one is known. Settled means someone poked or bought, so the books are closed and Claim will pay. Dead is not enough. You have to wait for settled.
Does the next round start by itself?
No. After the round dies, the pot waits until someone pokes or buys. A poke closes the books and does not open the next round. A buy of at least 0.002 ETH does both. There's no owner to hit start.
What does poke do?
On Ethereum, poke tries to send the bank, and if the round is dead it closes the books. It never opens the next round and it never buys miners. On Robinhood, poke spends the tank: harvest, then mine and pair. Anyone can press. Quiet hours need someone to.
What is the next-round drip?
The last round's Next-round 20% doesn't land as a lump. It drips into this pot over the first 144 blocks. If this round dies early, the rest rolls to the next one. One opening buy cannot take the whole leftover in ten minutes.
Money
Can I get the hooked ETH back on Ethereum right away?
No. Hooked ether goes to Robinhood Chain to mine. Late is allowed; lost is not. The late bound is the four-day force-include window and the chain filter — not a twenty-four-hour promise. You cannot withdraw hooked ether to L1. Bringing value back the long way is about seven days.
When does the 40% leave Ethereum?
When the bank holds at least 0.05 ETH and fees would take at most 2%. A buy already tries. Anyone may poke. Below that, it waits in the bank. It does not leak.
Do I get half of the $HBTC the machine buys?
No. Half the tank buys $HBTC, half locks ETH as the other side of the book. That coin stays with the protocol — pair or burn. You do not take it. The half-and-half is how the tank is spent, not a cut for you.
Who is the hooked one?
Only the last buy at or over min. Under min still takes miners and on miners. You're not the hooked one. That block doesn't count. You can't take the pot. A later buy at or over min becomes the hooked one.
Is the last hand a guaranteed profit?
No. The hooked one takes 100% of the pot after it settles — and only if that buy cleared min. That pot is 20% of later buys, plus the first-buy On miners slice, plus dripped carry. Nobody promised those slices are bigger than what the hooked one spent. An empty block is how it ends.
Claiming
How do I withdraw on miners and take the pot?
On miners: Withdraw on Get Hooked, anytime, even while the round is live. The pot: Claim the pot on Claim, only after it settles, and only if you're the hooked one. Try too early and the contract says no. There is no $HBTC claim. On-chain names for those two calls are on Verify.
Reading the machine
Where does the Hooked 40% go?
Proof of FOMO is how the Hooked 40% is spent — bank, bridge, half mine / half LP, pair or burn. The books on that page scroll OreHook blocks like the hook: each card is this machine's share of that ten-minute block. 0% until the sink is live. You still don't take that coin. Get Hooked still buys. Claim still pays. Machine still pokes. Confirm the reads on Verify.
What cannot change
Who can pause it?
Nobody. There is no pause, no upgrade, and no steward. Those functions do not exist. Addresses are on Verify.
What can nobody change?
The four-way cut, the no-countdown clock, how min rises, the rising miner price, miners you can't transfer, pair-or-burn of the protocol share, no $HBTC for you, and the absence of an owner. OreHook already mints. This machine does not get a second mint.
No owner. No admin keys. One hook mints Bitcoin. This machine feeds it.
